What better "ambassador" for these pieces than Richie Rich and the Monopoly Man? Alot of the art seen is from classic vintage covers and interiors reimagined into large scale new pop art pieces. Richie Rich is one of Harvey Comics most well known characters and was created by the very talented  duo Warren Kremer and Alfred Harvey. He first appeared on the scene in 1953.

The Monopoly Man first appeared in the early 1900s as "Rich Uncle Pennybags" and was penned by artist Dan Fox. He first appeared in the Parker Brothers game "Dig" game in 1936, but wasnt actually given a name until 1946 when he appeared in Parker Brothers new game "Rich Uncle".  In 1985 he appeared in the game "Monopoly" and it wasnt until 1999 that Rich Uncle Pennybags was officially renamed "Mr Monopoly". Like Richie Rich, he is a pop icon, and symbolic of the birth of real wealth and the industrial era as we know it today.

The collection will be a mixture of traditional urban pop with its normal brandalism, book club pieces (often finance based Favourite is without doubt "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", concrete bases and a few limited edition large format cards.

All pieces are in stock as you see them, and arrive to you ready to hang on your wall with a lovely gloss finish and on a double thick double stretched canvas. If you would like to discuss a commission, or different sized piece to what I have in store, please drop me a message. I have done many massive pieces, some as large as 6m x 2m (234 inches x 78 inches) rectangle and 3m x 3m square (117 inches x 117 inches).
